Help with Mac OS X Icons!
Changing an icon under Mac OS X is a simple procedure. In fact, it you’re familiar with older versions of the Mac OS, the process of changing and customizing icons has changed little since the arrival of Mac OS 8. All it takes is a couple steps with the help of the Finder’s ‘Get Info’ command. If you can copy and paste, you can customize your icons under OS X! Here’s how:

 

 

In the Finder, select the icon you want to use for your file or folder and choose Get Info from the File menu.

Select the icon in the Info window and choose Copy from the Edit menu.
