It's possible to use any image in the proper format as a wallpaper, and all it takes is a few mouse clicks at the Windows control panel. Here's how to do it:

From the Start menu, select Control Panel, double click Display. The Display Properties dialog box appears. You can also right click anywhere in a blank part of the Desktop and select Properties, The Display Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Desktop tab and then, to change the background, under Background, select a background you like or click "Browse" to locate an image file.
Navigate through the Browse dialog box until you locate and select the appropriate image file. Click Open, then click Apply.
If you are satisfied with the background, click OK.
