Help with Mac OS X Desktop Pictures!

Desktop Pictures for the Mac OS have been available for quite some time. Originally, the Mac OS required extra, third party modules and control panels to present desktop pictures. Later, the Mac OS delivered built-in capabilities to display desktop pictures or wallpapers as well as desktop patterns. Mac OS X handles many different kinds of wallpapers allowing the user to customize a desktop quickly and painlessly. Here's how:

To change the desktop picture, open System Preferences (the Mac OS X control panel) and click Desktop.

You can also control-click the desktop to bring the pop-up menu, then select 'Change Desktop Background'

Choose a collection from the Collection pop-up menu, then click the picture you want to use. To change the picture automatically, click "Change picture" and choose an option from the pop-up menu.
